Outline :- Interesting outline of early mining in Ghana and early understanding, leading to the atomic bomb. The rushes to find & mine uranium extended its occurrences around the world, and several places described in detail – usually accompanied with realizations that early miners did not know the health & safety factors as this was tied up in the coal war security mentality. The book appears like a travel guide to uranium mining places at times, and goes into some modern day issues of poor security over radioactive material, dumping sites etc.
