Feynman – Lectures on Gravitation (book review)
Title :- Feynman – Lectures on Gravitation
By :- Richard P. Feynman, Fernando B. Morinigo and William G. Wagner
Published :- Penguin Books, USA (1995) Paperback (220 pages).
Outline :- As lecturer at the California Institute of Technology he had a busy schedule but also gave a series of lectures on gravity. Fortunately these were recorded and form the bases of the book. At that time these lectures on gravity were original and far reaching. There are lots of complicated equations, and a need to understand physics. This is not a book for the general public. The approach to determining gravity from a number of different directions is amazing.
I see gravity as still one branch of science that has not been adequately understood, and is still the focus of our best minds.
